Deal, Coupons, Things to Do
When you are out and about, try to pick up a copy of the Coastal Point and Wave – two free weekly newspapers with lots of good information, calendars, and coupons. Assorted travel brochures, maps and guide books are in the wood cabinet inside the front closet. Please return them when you are done with your visit for use by our next guests.
Breakfast and Donuts
Laytons on 16th street is a classic and Fractured Prune on the boardwalk at 14th street is our regular stop for donuts
Ice Cream, Fries and Funnel Cakes
Dumsers for ice cream and Thrashers for fries are Ocean City traditions. They have locations all along the boardwalk.
As for funnel cakes - they are all good :-)
Dining and Drinks
Fish Tales on 20th street facing the bay is walking diistance from the house and a personal favorite because it has a playground for the kids as well as one of the best views of the sunset your can find.

For crabs we like Hooper's on the west side of the Rt 50 bridge. The floating boat tables off of the dock are our personal choice.

If you need a quick sandwich (or any kind of alcoholic beverage you can imagine) Anthony's at 33rd street has a great deli counter.
Surf Shops
Our favorites for the good stuff, staffed by real surfers and true authenticity are Chauncey's on 54th street and Malibu on the boardwalk at 8th street

If you want a HUGE (yes that is intentionally in caps) selection. You cannot beat the K Coast shop on 3505 Coastal Highway (35th Street)
